EuropTec is part of the Glas Trösch Group with around 6,000 employees worldwide at 70 locations. The company name EuropTec was created in 2004 following the merger of companies specialising in the development and manufacture of high quality components. Since then EuropTec has seen dynamic further development and today numbers amongst the leading producers of components made of glass and plastics materials.

In May 2021 EuropTec took over the technical glass division from the Berliner Glas Group and was thereby able to clearly expand its production capacities and its market position. Today employees work for EuropTec at locations in Switzerland as well as in Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Taiwan and the USA.
